Job description
We’re searching for a Clinical Staff Development Specialist, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas and among the best in the nation. In this position, enhances staff practice through learning, change, professional role competence, and growth to support optimal patient care and population health. This role ensures the effective and efficient implementation and continuous improvement of six key Nursing Professional Development (NPD) processes: onboarding, competency management, role development, education, collaborative partnerships, and inquiry. Aligned with NPD scope and standards, the Specialist designs and refines frameworks for managing these processes at the campus, integrates system-wide initiatives and business plans into campus practice, and fosters collaboration with the NPD Department.
