Department: 37311 Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center - Oncology: Racine Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 32 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Teammate will be responsible for PSR workflows including, but not limited to: Hours are M-Th, 0800-1630. No holidays, no weekends. Some teammate flexibility for Fridays pending team needs is appreciated. - Patient check-in, including insurance validation - Patient scheduling, including complex infusion appointments, provider appointments Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 Major Responsibilities: - Greets patients and visitors and responds to routine requests for information. Answers telephone, screens calls, and takes messages. - Registers patients; obtains demographic and insurance information; verifies insurance coverage, collects co-pays, deductibles, and previous balances; posts payments and updates demographic and insurance information; obtains prior authorizations when needed. - Schedules patient appointments and coordinates cancellations, reschedules, and additions to schedules.
