Overview Role: CNC Turning Technician (Week Day Night Shift, Monday - Thursday) Contract Type: Contractor Or Permanent: Location: Leamington Spa: Role ID: 2025-2998: Salary: Contractor rate £22.06 per hour inclusive of 20% shift premium / Permanent Salary £42,400 - £43,500 inclusive of 20% shift premium, plus benefits The Role: This position supports small batch CNC turning work for high-quality transmission components in motorsport and aerospace, working within a small, focused team and supported by offline programming tools. Key Competencies and Experience: - Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and planning route cards to produce components to the highest quality, within routed timeframes Experience working on CNC lathes, including: - Victor Turn II 26 HD - Leadwell LTC 25iL with Siemens 828D - Doosan Puma GT3100 - Familiarity with Fanuc controls is essential; knowledge of Siemens controls is advantageous - Ability to read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, including adjusting speeds and feeds as necessary - Working knowledge of turning tips and their correct applications - Advantageous: experience operating a small manual lathe and/or Harrison Alpha 400 Plus NC lat...
