Respiratory Therapist - Diagnostics Supervisor 100%- Downtown Campus - ( 26002613 ) Description The UI Health Care Medical Center Downtown is seeking a Diagnostics Supervisor to join their team. This position will Assist with oversight of Respiratory Therapy and Outpatient Diagnostics Areas. Respiratory Therapy, Bronchoscopies, Pulmonary Function Testing, Cardiac Stress Testing and Monitoring. Job Duties include: · Hire, develop, and manage the performance of staff in a departmental unit or functional division. · Makes effective and timely recommendations in matters of hiring, promotion, transfers, and disciplinary action(s). · Ensures performance expectations are clearly understood by staff and holds staff accountable to meet or exceed patient needs/expectations as well as maintain standards of collaboration and respect within and among multidisciplinary teams. · Completes staff evaluations on time with written, solid justification. · Reviews attendance data to recognize trends and takes appropriate follow-up with staff. · Prepare and/or assist in budget development; provide projections and recommendations.
