Senior Data Engineer

Job description

**This is a direct-hire role in Nashville, TN. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Plan to be in the office about four days per week.** Seeking a Data Engineer Consultant to support migration and ongoing development of data systems, primarily using Snowflake, DBT, and AWS, within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities: - Assist with migration from SQL/Python to Snowflake/DBT. - Own and deliver projects for one or more business verticals. - Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. - Contribute to architectural decisions and process improvements. - Ramp up quickly, starting with smaller tasks and progressing to vertical ownership. - Provide backup support across the team as needed. Qualifications: - Strong experience with Snowflake and DBT. - Proficiency in SQL. - Familiarity with AWS or willingness to learn. - Problem-solving mindset and ability to own projects. - Ability to work onsite in Nashville (flexible 4/1 or 3/2 schedule).
