Overview Overview: The KYW Newsradio Traffic Center is looking for a Part-Time Traffic Reporter for the traffic team broadcasting traffic reports across the cluster of Audacy stations in Philadelphia including KYW Newsradio.The job will be based out of Audacy’s Philadelphia 2400 Market Street facilities. Duties include: Gather, write, select and broadcast traffic stories to run in radio traffic reports, over air, on line, and on social media platforms. Supervise all traffic operations assets in the production, writing, and presentation of traffic reports and digital content. Must plan and prepare for upcoming traffic coverage for planned traffic events as well as unplanned traffic events. Must be available to work weekends and overnights. Responsibilities: What You'll Do: - Voicing Traffic reports on Audacy stations to air on broadcast and digital platforms. - Gathering, writing, recording, editing and delivering traffic reports as outlined by Audacy Inc. - Monitoring of traffic gathering data assets (i.e. 511 PA Traffic information websites, traffic camera imagery, scanner listening, etc.) - Make phone calls to area police, fire & DOT agencies to source and verify Traffic incident...
