Overview Overview: Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is hiring two teachers for its inquiry-based, hands-on summer drone program in O’Fallon. The program will serve twenty middle school students June 8-12. Hours/Schedule: This position requires: POSITION SUMMARY: This position delivers hands-on instruction to Summer@IMSA program participants in O’Fallon. All program materials are provided. Each teacher is supported by one or more volunteer assistants. - 2 hours of training (virtually) TBD - 8 hours of curriculum review - 22.5 hours of teaching, classroom set up and take down during June 8-12: 12noon - 4:30 pm (Program runs M-F, 1 – 4pm) - Teachers will be paid an hourly rate of $35/hour Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily.
