Job Description THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED AN HOURLY RATE OF $19.50: The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services and community supports. ACS manages community-based supports and foster care services, and provides subsidized child care vouchers. ACS child protection staff respond to allegations of child maltreatment. In juvenile justice, ACS oversees detention, placement and programs for youth in the community. ACS' Office of Agency Accountability (OAA) resides within the Commissioner’s Office to centralize the agency’s internal oversight functions as well as supports management reforms. Within OAA, Central Operations serves as the coordinating hub for strategic guidance and solutions to ensure ACS is improving the accountability structures of each division and the agency as a whole so complex initiatives move forward efficiently. Central Operations also helps shape long-term strategies to ensure the agency can achieve its mission with precision, impact, and accountability.
