Both electrical or mechanical bias bring benefits to this role so we are open to both backgrounds. As the Field Engineer the role will encompasses the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support of digital & analogue electronic monitoring systems incorporated to rail service and passenger vehicles. The Field Engineer will provide and offer technical solutions to our customer by responding to inquires and assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues. The individual will need to be able to evaluate and prioritise cases on an on-going basis whilst ensuring the customer has regular, clear communications, whether that be via email, phone or face-to-face. This role will involve some travel throughout the UK, generally Mondays to Fridays. Weekend and night working will also be required though not frequent.
