Job description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid Technical Responsibilities: - Design and develop electrical components and sub-systems for medical devices. - Design, develop and evaluate EM tracking systems, including field generators, sensor coils, signal acquisition circuits and positioning electronics. - Define and execute test methods for system accuracy validation - Work with cross-functional teams to integrate EM tracking into system architecture, including firmware, software, and mechanical subsystems. - Evaluate and mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental distortion effects (e.g., metallic objects, hospital equipment). - Develop calibration strategies, test fixtures, and verification methods to ensure tracking accuracy and repeatability. - Perform system-level troubleshooting of EM tracking issues in lab and simulated clinical environments. - Apply advanced circuit and electrical system test methods. - Conduct or design prototyping and bench testing. - Conduct problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against component and sub-system requirements. - Conduct research and studies to support product design. - Translate design inputs to engineering specifi...
