Job description

The Solutions Engineer - Senior supports the SEC ISS contract by translating enterprise mission and operational needs into secure, supportable technology solutions. This role leads solution engineering activities across architecture and engineering design, proof-of-concept execution, pilot validation, and technical recommendations aligned to OIT priorities. The position drives data-informed decision-making by producing quantitative analyses of alternatives and clear recommendation packages for SEC stakeholders. The role also supports continuous improvement goals in the PWS by documenting outcomes, risks, and implementation considerations for enterprise infrastructure modernization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Enterprise Solution Engineering: Perform day-to-day solution engineering activities to identify technologies that meet SEC enterprise requirements. Translate functional, operational, and business requirements into technical solution requirements and design criteria.
