Job Title: Engineering Supervisor - Physical Electrical Location: Remote (U.S. based) FLSA Classification: Exempt: Job Description: Orbital Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineering Supervisor – Physical Electrical to support our Substation Engineering group for a REMOTE WORK position. Primary responsibilities include leading a team of engineers and designers in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of electrical substations. Responsible for development of substation design packages for clients across the US. Projects range in size, complexity, and voltage class from small distribution equipment upgrades to large transmission projects. Essential Functions: o Lead a small team of designers in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of electrical substations o Manage the execution of physical design projects of all sizes, including resource planning, risk management, and project delivery o Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and manage career development for designers o Prepare or oversee the preparation of cost estimates and schedules for physical design projects o Allocate direct reports effectively to meet project demands...
