Job description

LIS Tech Specialist works with the laboratory information system technical specialist (LIS TS) II, laboratory information system technical specialist (TS) coordinator, and the supervisor to provide LIS support for the laboratory, including operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory file build. Accurately documents and tracks changes made to laboratory file build using the test implementation process (TIP). Serves as an expert resource for information management (IM) functions to the work unit. Completes other projects or assignments as assigned.
