Since then, it has expanded rapidly to become Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 27 stores across the country: 12 in Metro Vancouver, 6 in Alberta, and 9 in Ontario (7 in GTA and 1 in Ottawa, 1 in Waterloo). The Role: Reporting to the Head Cook (or his/her delegate), the Assistant Cook is responsible for assisting Head Cook to do food preparation including but not limited to: chopping, cutting, marinating and peeling at the assigned store or Central Kitchen. The Assistant Cook is also responsible for checking the quality/quantities of the receiving food products, carrying and storing the products received, the cleanliness of kitchen utensils, including tools, containers, clothes, towels, working and food storage areas.
