Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC: This role will be filled as Engineer III or Sr (Utility) JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Responsible for engineering design and support for power distribution. Performs a wide variety of planning, maintenance, and design engineering activities related to routine, non-routine, and emergency restoration duties. Project areas may include grid/system design, operations and maintenance, planning, asset management, reliability, computer applications, safety, and root cause failure analysis. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform load flow analysis and circuit coordination analysis utilizing SynerGEE. Identify and develop a plan to correct Un-Balanced loads on distribution circuits. Develop settings, program, and size all field equipment including but not limited to Reclosers, Fuses, Capacitors, and Regulators. Review all new distributed energy resource technical documents and customer equipment to ensure compliance with Entergy’s standards and policies.
