Description Millikin University, an NCAA Division III institution and member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, is seeking an Athletic Trainer who is responsible for providing comprehensive sports medicine services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. The Athletic Trainer collaborates with coaches, physicians, and university staff to ensure safe participation in athletic programs. Sport assignment is flexible but preferably seeking a year-round football assignment (football in fall, women’s flag football and off-season football training in spring). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: · Provide on-site athletic training services for assigned intercollegiate sports, including practices and competitions. · Evaluate athletic injuries and develop appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans. · Administer first aid and emergency care to injured student-athletes. · Implement injury prevention programs, including conditioning, taping, bracing, and education. · Coordinate referrals to team physicians or other healthcare professionals as needed. · Maintain accurate an...
