Black Mountain Home for Children is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Accounting & Finance professional to oversee all aspects of financial operations for our Christ-centered ministry. This role combines technical accounting skill with integrity, stewardship, and a servant's heart - helping ensure that resources are managed wisely in support of our mission of " Glorifying God by caring for children, youth, and families." Duties include, but are not limited to: - Oversee all financial operations including accounts payable, payroll, donations, investments, and general ledger functions using Abila accounting software. - Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, weekly cash balances, and restricted fund reports. - Manage bank accounts, deposits, and reconciliations. - Coordinate annual audits and serve as liaison with external auditors. - Oversee billing and fee-for-service receipts from county partners. - Develop, implement, and maintain sound accounting practices and financial policies for the Home, the BMH Legacy Foundation, and related entities. - Assist with annua...
