Overview Boston Parks & Recreation's youth recreation series and events improve the quality of life and economic balance by offering convenient, free, high-quality, instructional, and team-building programs to underserved and economically disadvantaged communities. These programs serve several demographics, including at-risk populations and children from families who cannot afford summer sports camps, leagues, or sport-specific series. By bringing these safe and enriching programs to the parks in densely populated areas, these events provide a vital means of support and opportunity. Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Ideal Candidate for this Job - Help manage day-to-day activities. - Provide direct supervision of program participants at the site. - Assist with planning and scheduling site programming. - Maintain an inventory of equipment and materials. - Ensure accurate records of attendance for program participants. - Lacrosse Knowledge and Experience: A strong understanding of lacrosse fundamentals, with previous playing or coaching experience, preferably at a youth or recreational level. This includes knowledge of basic techniques such as passing, shooting, and positioning. -...
