Position Overview: - Department: Physical Therapy - Occupational Health Clinic - Schedule: 4 - 10 Hour Shifts Monday - Thursday;7:30A-6:30P - Work Location: UAB St. Vincents Honda plant - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. - Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. - Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. - Document treatment interventions given. - May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel. What You Will Need: Education: - Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or having a temporary license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
