Since its set-up in 2014, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation. We are seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer / Architect with deep expertise in financial market data applications and trading systems. This role is responsible for architecting, packaging, deploying, and testing desktop applications in high‑performance trading environments—ensuring seamless delivery, stability, and optimal performance for traders. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with enterprise packaging tools, market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters), and a strong understanding of the latency‑sensitive nature of trading workloads. Exceptional stakeholder communication and engagement skills are essential, as the role involves close interaction with traders, support teams, and engineering leadership.
