POSITION PURPOSE: Provides superior banquet service to resort guests which includes, function set up and tear down, clean up, and special needs by the guest. Maintains the budget including but not limited to, inventory control and labor cost. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Ensures that the banquet staff has guidance, direction and training to provide exemplary resort guest service at all times. - Schedules, delegates and directs the workflow of the Banquet Department. - Responsible for all aspects of hiring, development and discipline of employees. - Conducts ongoing informal evaluations giving staff constructive feedback in the time frame required. - Maintains reports, accounting, and time and attenda...
