Job description
This position supports surveying operations through both fieldwork and technical drafting. This role involves collecting and interpreting spatial data, operating a variety of survey instruments, and assisting with the preparation of accurate drawings and documentation. Candidates will have experience reading maps and engineering drawings, and be comfortable using tools such as total stations, levels, and M-scopes. The candidate will assist with calculations, field sketches, and data analysis, while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external agencies. Additionally, a strong foundation in written and verbal communication is important, as is a willingness to learn and adapt to new survey and mapping technologies. Core Responsibilities: - Ability to read and interpret maps and drawings and be capable of operating various survey instruments (total stations, level, M-scopes, etc.). - Competency in the use of MicroStation or Auto-Cad in order to generate various types of drawings. - Survey Technicians assist Surveyors with mathematical computations and field sketches. - Ability to have strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with othe...
