Under the direction of the appropriate supervisor, this role is responsible for supporting clinical operations by preparing and positioning patients, preparing clinical areas for treatment, performing intraoral and extraoral radiographs, and ensuring proper use of sterile techniques and infection control procedures. The position plays a critical role in maintaining aseptic and sterilization standards, inspecting instruments and equipment for proper function, developing and identifying radiographic films, troubleshooting scanners for high-quality imaging, and assisting in the educational mission of the SDM by demonstrating and instructing dental students in technical dentistry practices and modeling effective clinical workflows.
