Description SUMMARY: The Press Brake Operator is responsible for a variety of duties in the set-up and operation of sheet metal fabrication equipment as defined in the work instructions for each job. To ensure that techniques are followed and maintain acceptable levels of quality and productivity within established parameters while working in a safe and effective manner. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs forming operations on a large variety of parts at times with high levels of complexity, ensuring the operation is performed within established parameters, minimal scrap, and acceptable levels of output - Plan forming techniques using proper tools, and produces parts within established finish specifications, specifications at acceptable levels of production, which includes the reading and interpretation of process drawing, routings, and travelers - Use a full range of forming equipment and hand tools in support of daily output on specific materials ensuring that 100% of parts produced meet or exceed expectations - Trace any problem source(s) and ensuring proper corrective action(s) are taken to resolve detected problems - Reads and interprets a variety forming specifications and engi...
