Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Responsibilities: - Lead the month-end closing process and provide accounting support for 12 operating locations covering four business groups in Canada and the United States - Perform routine accounting controls and investigate variances to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act - Draft and record journal entries and review account activity for unusual items - Close the foreign currency company and generate the necessary entries to consolidate at month-end - Ensure that leases are properly captured and classified on the balance sheet - Prepare key month-end account reconciliations and resolve outages in a timely manner - Review and update product service standards for inventory - Provide accounting support for the budgeting and forecasting processes - Maintain and provide audit support to the internal and external audit teams - Develop, maintain and refine financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and pricing decisions - Prepare and present financial reports using clear, visual formats to support business analysis and strategic decision-making - Deliver financial analysis to support existing commercial relationships, new business development...
