Job description

The Project Developer position is responsible for identifying, shaping, and advancing new energy development opportunities that serve Energy Northwest’s member utilities and regional public power partners. The role focuses on early-stage opportunity development, including market analysis, resource identification, partnership structuring, and project feasibility. The developer works across internal teams, member utilities, regulators, and private partners to structure projects and move them through the development pipeline toward potential investment and execution. GENERAL SUMMARY: Manage the development of new applied technology and power management projects of varying types as assigned. Create resource solutions for public power utilities and implement project plans from the early feasibility phase through the construction phase. Project size will vary, with typical development and construction budgets ranging from a few million dollars for small renewable projects to hundreds of millions for large conventional projects.
