Overview Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Information Management System (LIMS) Scientist I in Richland, WA. This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD). Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: The Lab IT group is responsible for providing a functional Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and analytical IT needs. The LIMS Scientist incorporates conventional engineering or scientific practices and a variety of complex features such as laboratory technical requirements and application of new or special materials or processes into problem solving and program planning. They conduct work site/area visits, analyze scientific problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
