The Engineering Research Office (ERO), located in the Tickle College of Engineering (TCE) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK), invites applications for an exempt full-time Research Coordinator. The ERO provides concierge service to enhance the quality and success of extramural research proposals. Reporting to the Research Assistant Director, the Research Coordinator will be a primary contact for faculty and support staff in the seven academic departments and six research centers comprising the TCE’s research enterprise. The Research Coordinator will have an active role in implementing efforts to enhance the success of faculty members relative to external funding. Primary duties include: - Providing technical assistance to faculty members relative to all aspects of proposal support, including analysis of the RFP/solicitation, proposal planning and budget development, facilitating internal/external collaborative arrangements, assisting with final submission to sponsor - Serving as liaison with internal and external constituencies to facilitate collaborative research activities through exchanging information and clarifying procedures and requirements during the proposal st...
