Description JOB SUMMARY: The MRI and X-Ray Technician operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and X-Ray scanners to demonstrate portions of the human body with high-quality radiographic images for diagnostic purposes and also maintains and uses equipment and supplies necessary to demonstrate portions of the human body with high-quality radiographic images for diagnostic purposes. This is a PRN position with opportunities in Edwards, Frisco, and Vail, CO. THE DETAILS OF THE JOB: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Interviews patients to explain specific radiologic procedures and ensure patient safety. - Positions patient on examining table and set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by radiologist. Use patient-shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
