Description We invite outstanding individuals to apply for a faculty position in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The Department fosters a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary research and education/training environment. Our faculty possess research expertise in cardiac, neuronal, vascular, and renal physiology, as well as structural biology, cell signaling, and molecular biophysics. We are particularly interested in candidates who can strengthen and build on our current research focus areas in cellular organelle pathophysiology, metabolism, and/or structural biology as applied to studying the molecular basis of human diseases such as cardiovascular/circulatory diseases and neurodegenerative disorders. Other topics of research in broadly defined areas of cell physiology and molecular biophysics will also be considered. Qualifications: Applicants for a position as Assistant Professor should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, 3-5 years postdoctoral experience, and a strong record of scholarly activity.
