Position Overview The UHS Pediatrics Vestal Medical Center is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to our Pediatric group practice. Full-time, exempt position and seeking an experienced Pediatric NP or a new graduate with Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training. Must be board certified and licensed in the state of New York. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Pediatrics Vestal Annual Compensation Range: $128,000 - $150,600 The NP will provide general medical care and treatment to patients in our medical facility, under direction of physician. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician. Provides primary care to patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. Helps with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations. Educates patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments. Conducts physicals, orders tests and serves as a patient’s primary healthcare provider.
