Position Overview Emerald Technical Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Systems / Cloud Administrator to provide hands-on operational support for the Town of Elkton’s hybrid IT environment. This role is responsible for maintaining on-premises infrastructure while supporting the Town’s gradual transition toward cloud and hybrid services. This position is embedded on-site and serves as a key technical resource supporting endpoint management, server administration, help desk operations, and cybersecurity enforcement aligned with NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Benchmarks, and CJIS requirements. Key Responsibilities: IT Operations & Help Desk Support - Provide Tier II support for ~100+ users across Town and Police Department environments - Manage ticket intake, tracking, and resolution via Jira ITSM - Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP (OnSIP), and peripheral devices - Maintain SLA compliance and contribute to service performance reporting (CSAT, metrics) Systems Administration: - Administer Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments - Support Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and file services - Maintain Exchange 2019 and assist with future migration to Exchange Online -...
