Overview Paramedic: Full Time 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Variable Shifts Emergency Medical Services Overview: Covenant Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS) ensures rapid response with specially trained personnel and a fleet of vehicles that are equipped with cutting-edge technology. The Covenant Health EMS team improves patient care and outcomes, supports post-discharge planning, and enhances community engagement. Working closely with all Covenant medical centers as well as several non-Covenant facilities, our EMS team ensures that advanced-level transport options are available when needed. Position Summary: Within the Covenant Health EMS System, the Paramedic II - EMS is a public safety professional that provides direct care to patients with medical emergencies and other acute illnesses and/or injuries in the pre-hospital and interfacility settings. The Paramedic II - EMS performs careful assessment of patients and provides emergent and critical care interventions for various injuries and illnesses.
