Job description

Identifies and develops new business opportunities defined as appropriate for the practice. Plans, organizes, leads, and directs new services. Defines goals and objectives in accordance with those of the Health System. Develops staff in goal achievement. Participates in annual budget preparation and manages the practice expenses in accordance with the adopted budget. Manages resources to ensure efficient, high quality services for the customers served by the practice. Ensures conformity to federal, state and local regulatory requirements, for the successful management of the practice. Evaluates practice efficiencies and develops and implements improvement plans. Analyzes current and historical statistical trends including operating performance, special projects and strategic contract initiatives. Acts as a liaison to facilitate solutions and provide needs assessments between internal departments, external payers, medical staff and Administration. Prepares and distributes quarterly provider productivity records to include the maintenance of physician productivity benchmarking models.
