Job Title: Design Manager Reporting to: BUGM: Business Unit: Renewables Scotland Role Purpose: The Design Manager is required by the Omexom Scotland Renewables Business Unit working closely with the Business Unit General Manager (BUGM), Bid Manager, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Design Engineers, and other members of the wider Omexom business to manage and coordinate all of the design-related matters on our projects, helping to keep work running smoothly and on time. Be involved and liaise with the BUGM, PM, and Bid Manager at tender stage to ensure the tender submissions are robust and fit for purpose from a design point of view, adding engineering value as required. Managing the design processes involved in a construction project, including ensuring that drawings are ready on time, reviewing designs when appropriate, and making them available to the appropriate people. Promote Omexom within the industry to assist with developing the business and employees and attract likeminded people that share our values to join our expanding team.
