Job description

Guernsey Power Station (GPS) is a $1.6 billion 1,875 MW 3x1x1 GE 7HA.02 combined cycle electric generating facility commissioned in 2023 and located in Guernsey County, OH. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide analytical support and coordination for the NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) CIP Reliability Compliance Program. In addition, the position will serve as a backup to the plant DCS (Distributed Control System) Engineer. The Manager will work closely with facility staff, corporate NERC resources, and external regulators to maintain and improve the NERC compliance posture of Guernsey Power Station. This includes technical system support, control system security, internal audits, training, and continuous improvement of compliance programs. Key Responsibilities: Primary Duties: · Coordinates all aspects of the Plant Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards · NERC CIP Compliance which Includes maintaining NERC procedures and logs and other required documentation. · Keep all site NERC procedures to the current NERC CIP Standards · Maintain all NERC CIP defined equipment to ensure they are kept up to date with all the latest cyber se...
