Logistics Driver Lead

Job Summary: The Driver Lead position is based in Purvis, MS, with operations in the U.S., and has overall responsibility for supervising a team of drivers, coordinating delivery schedules and routes, and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of products to customers. This position reports directly to the Manager, Delivery, and has up to five direct reports. Job Responsibilities: - Interprets, trains associates on and consistently enforces company policies, protocols and procedures including but not limited to safety, DOT, record keeping. - Supervises compliance with Company policies and/or processes by action and speech’ - Regularly audits areas such as driver logs, record keeping, and driver work practices, equipment conditions, are in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations - Maintains a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of company operations, policies and procedures. - Provides support, advice and guidance to drivers and monitors in responding to a variety of issues. - Conducts monthly safety meetings with driving staff to ensure that safety related information is priority #1 within our operation. - Conducts initial defensive driving training for all...
