Registered Pharmacist Position Summary: The Registered Pharmacist must work with pharmacy staff, Quality Correctional Care staff, and county staff to provide medications to inmates and facilities. Registered Pharmacist Mandatory Functions: - Responsible for complying with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations. - Accountable for entire pharmacy operations, compliance and outcomes. - Named responsibility for board of pharmacy compliance. - Responsible for oversight of controlled substances, audits, inspections. - Responsible for policy enforcement and recordkeeping. - Primary contact for regulatory agencies. - Comply with court orders, medical department rules and the policies and procedures of Quality Rx. - Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate therapy, and interactions a...
