The opportunity The Engineering Director is responsible for reporting to key stakeholders including the Client, the Project Manager, Program Director and the Project Board, the successful applicant can envision themselves attending to duties such as: What you’ll do - The Engineering Director is responsible for the execution of the Engineering and Design scopes of work in coordination with the procurement and delivery teams, and in accordance with The Downer Standard - Provide weekly updates to the project planner (P6 or MS Project) based on the actuals from the project dashboard and design progress tracking tools - Provide monthly updates on KPI’s and design progress (cost, time and hours) including Engineering Change Management - Ensure the engineering design team has a complete understanding of the scope of works utilising adequate tools in compliance with the Downer Standard and Engineering Delivery Model (EDM) Practical Guide - Ensure delivery of Engineering & Design scope of Work in line with agreed budget and program - Effective risk identification, assessment and review processes are implemented and maintained, and the currency of the risks and treatment plans in the Project...
