Description JOB PURPOSE: The Accounting Intern supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting functions while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. This role provides exposure to core accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls, helping the intern build practical skills aligned with their academic studies. Requirements: PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records. - Support accounts payable processes, including invoice review and coding. - Help reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. - Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation. - Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets. - Support month-end close activities. - Reconciling balance sheet accounts. - Analyzing expense accounts. - Assist with audit preparation as needed. - Conduct basic research and troubleshoot as necessary. - All Other Duties as Assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: - Willingness to learn and take initiative. - High level of attention to detail. - Able to build relationships at all levels of the organization. - Exceptional interpersonal, oral, presentation and written commu...
