Position Posting Municipal Worker 1 - Parks Summer Student (2 Positions Available) Term of Employment: Full-Time, Summer Term (June 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026) Rate of Pay: Student Wage Band: $18.05 per hour (Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement) Location: Parks & Green Spaces Team (Budmiller All Seasons Park, Parks General and Lloydminster Golf & Curling Club) Duties: The Municipal Worker 1 performs a variety of parks and open-space maintenance, including all activities associated with turf, tree, flower and shrub bed maintenance, throughout the City of Lloydminster, in a safe and efficient manner. Duties may also include the care of sports fields, playgrounds, and other city amenities. The Municipal Worker 1 will participate in the City of Lloydminster’s Safety Management System. Other relevant duties may be assigned as required . Schedule: Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the occasional requirement to work outside these hours, including weekend rotation. LGCC start time can very from 5:00am-7:00am depending on departmental needs.
