Perform all levels of troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of water, sewage, drainage, air, gas and vacuum systems and related equipment and facilities in Duke University Hospital. Work Arrangement – On-site: DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES: - Experience working with water, sewage, drainage, gas, air, and vacuum systems. - Experience in a healthcare setting. - Hands on experience installing and troubleshooting plumbing fixtures and specialized equipment. - Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and trade-specification documents. - Knowledge of state and local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Training - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid N.C. Driver's license and a driving history acceptable under the guidelines of the Safe Driving Policy.
