Job description

Responsible for performing specialized functions along with technical radiology procedures. Serves as the liaison and primary point of contact between management, staff and physicians for routine matters. Answers questions and resolves issues for the subordinate roles as well as other members of the care team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to practice standards. This position ensures optimal patient safety, quality outcomes, and customer service. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Performs special procedure (Interventional) exams as well as diagnostic radiology procedures and assists with patient preparation before procedures and performs proper sterile techniques as indicated in support of the invasive procedure. 2. Supports imaging procedural flow collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team in timely and efficient manner. 2. Supervises technologists daily duties ensuring a team approach with extraordinary quality patient interactions during the continuum of care. 3.
