Job description

Project Name: The Data Center Colocation and Migration Project TASKS & DUTIES: - Design and configure VMware HCX, vCenter, and NSX components at both source and target sites. - Perform wave-based VM migrations using appropriate HCX mobility types (vMotion, RAV, etc.). - Track migration performance, error handling, and validate post-migration performance. - Coordinate phased migration schedule across all application tiers and environments. Interface regularly with: - Application owners (pre/post testing, downtime planning) - Network engineers (firewall rules, routing, L2 extensions) - Backup team (freeze windows, integration testing). - Maintain runbooks, status updates, issue logs, and executive summaries.
