Job DetailsJob Location: Boston - Whitinsville, MA 01588Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 SalaryStaff Accountant SUMMARY OF JOB: The Staff Accountant will serve as a key contributor to the Accounting and Finance team in the areas of Receivables and Project Accounting Data Entry, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Internal Controls support, as well as day-to-day transactional support. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the transactional support of small and large clients, working with members of the Project Accounting and Client Services teams Take a lead role in reconciling monthly FedEx transactions Apply cash receipts on a daily basis Monitor AR Aging for reconciling items. Assist in the reconciliation of monthly open orders in preparation for month-end procedures Act as a backup for select Accounts Payable Functions Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls as well as develop and help implement an internal audit structure and related processes Provide support for special projects and other cross-functional initiatives assigned by management Act as liaison for client portal set-ups as necessary Work with external auditors and support finan...
