Retail Stock Associate

Job description

Receives, stores, issues, delivers, ships and accounts for retail merchandise in Northern Nevada. - Receives shipments in a timely manner - Transports merchandise from the receiving dock to store locations - Receives, unpacks and puts away or transfers the daily delivery of merchandise - Ensures that all necessary supplies are delivered to the stores (bags, tissue, bubble wrap, etc) - Receives materials from common carriers and suppliers. Inspects and counts incoming materials; verifies against order for correctness and condition. Reports any deviations to Retail Supervisor - Stores materials in warehouses and obtains proper paperwork authorizing storage form other departments for non-inventory assets. - Participates in stock room cleanliness by dusting and keeping all areas neat and uncluttered - Fills orders and issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition or transfer request. - Verifies correctness of orders with receiving departments and obtains authorized signature. - Assists in inventory counts of all materials. - Obtains required signatures on receipts and bills of lading and maintains required reports and records. - Makes special deliveries and pickups as assigned....
