Bucklesham Primary School: Number on Roll 105. Bucklesham Primary School is seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant who will join our dedicated and friendly team in our “small, caring school which has a big vision for children’s lives” (Ofsted, July 2024). We are looking for a permanent Teaching Assistant to support the needs of our children, initially in our Year 1 and 2 mixed age class, 5 days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm (lunch 12pm – 1pm). This will ideally be one person for consistency, but we could consider a job share. You will have experience of working in a school and knowledge of adapting the curriculum for SEND children. Knowledge of delivering interventions would be an advantage. Located in a small village just outside of Ipswich, the school is driven by a strong, nurturing ethos which supports the development of the whole child. The school has four mixed age classes, and we are keen to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated teaching assistant who can contribute to the delivery of a creative, engaging and challenging curriculum.
