Historians examine the complex ideas behind events of the past to help us understand the present and chart a more successful future. In a dynamic and ever-changing world, they are our modern-day guides. At Cal Poly Humboldt, we prepare our students with all the tools of the historian: critical thinking, high-tech research, project development, and excellent writing and presentation skills.
