Job description
As Underwriting Operations Manager in our Underwriting & Services Centre (UWC) , you will shape how Commercial Lines underwriting is executed across segments, lines of business and industries. You will lead the implementation of P&C underwriting processes and best practices in alignment with CEMENA and COG, acting as a key change leader and ensuring strong governance, consistency and control. You will partner closely with Operations leadership, regional line leaders, Product Managers and the Broker Management team to evolve the operating model, support new products and deals, and drive profitable, sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: Own and enhance underwriting processes within the UWC, ensuring governance, integrity and clear documentation of underwriting rationale. Drive local implementation of P&C underwriting processes and tools (portals/raters, WASP, wording standardisation, limits profile reviews, etc.) and represent underwriting in IT / UAT initiatives.
