Job description

The Inventory Supervisor manages the warehouse associates and is responsible for overseeing daily operations. This position will report to the Inventory Manager. Job Duties: Oversee the daily operation activities of the Warehouse Associates team and people management responsibilities including training, planning, and assigning daily work, performance management, and conflict resolution. Accomplish department objectives by supervising staff, organizing, and monitoring work processes, and maintaining physical inventory and accuracy. Implement and enforce systems, policies, and procedures. Oversee all shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Coordinate communication between the internal departments as required to ensure efficient and timely receiving. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe Establish and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers through effective communication both written and oral. Alert Inventory Manager to any irregularities in the product inventory or processes Provide direction, assign responsibilities, and motivate the team to achieve department goals.
